Chief Engineer / M&E Coordinator

Plans and carries out preventive maintenance of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, elevator, generator, and water treatment systems.

Role scope

Key Responsibilities & Operational Execution

Prepare preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and checklists for all building M&E systems
Lead the shift technician team in daily maintenance and operation of chillers/HVAC, transformers, and generators
Monitor and audit building power and water consumption for the energy conservation program
Oversee periodic readiness testing of fire protection systems (hydrants, sprinklers, fire alarms)
Coordinate trouble tickets and tenant technical repairs within fast SLAs
Support the periodic inspections by the labor ministry office (Disnaker) and the renewal of technical installation certificates

Candidate criteria

Diploma (D3) or bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
At least 4 years in engineering for multi-story buildings (office, mall, or apartment)
Understanding of water-cooled chillers, AHU/FCU, MV/LV panels, transformers, and STP/WTP
Operator license (SIO) or electrical/mechanical occupational health and safety certification (a plus)
Able to read technical drawings, as-built drawings, and electrical schematics
Disciplined, meticulous, and ready to respond in operational emergencies
